Fernando Sanchez Gonzalez, Secretary of Security and Municipal Citizen Protection of Tijuana SSPCM (Secretary of Security and Municipal Citizen Protection of Tijuana), highlighted that crimes such as vehicle theft and commercial robbery have shown a decrease so far in this year.
He stated that the number of vehicle thefts has decreased by 5% this year.
He said: “We will continue to work on the prevention side with Municipal Police, and with coordination from the Attorney General’s Office when we are able to arrest those who drive vehicles that have been reported as stolen, or try to steal one.”
